The field of angiography for other organs and minimally invasive intervention is relatively recent but has gradually and rapidly evolved into a full fledged super-speciality- known as Interventional Radiology. It offers treatment to multiple diseases from head to toe from intra-cranial aneurysms to liver cancers to varicose veins in the legs. Not only are these interventional treatment options as effective as surgery but they are minimally invasive, safer and also best in terms of shorter hospital stay and faster recovery.

Our team has 4 interventional radiologists with variegatedness in terms of sub-specialty training. Dr CPS Chauhan is the director heading over the team and is one of the most versatile Interventional Radiologists in India. Finishing his training in the prestigious SGPGI institute, he has been performing thousands of interventions since 19 years ranging from treatment of aorto-iliac aneurysms, peripheral arterial disease, varicose veins and hemoptysis. Dr Dhirendra Pratap Singh, Consultant in the team has trained in various branches of Interventional Radiology in AIIMS (Delhi) and Apollo (Delhi) hospitals and has been actively involved in multiple neurological and endovascular interventions and has wide experience working with the hepatic transplant team. Dr Anshul Jain has done his DM in neuro-radiology and neuro-intervention from AIIMS, Delhi and has been involved in treatment of multiple patients with intra-cerebral aneurysms, stroke thormbolysis and arterio-venous malformations. Dr Gaurav Gangwani, the youngest member of the team has been training right from his ripe post graduate years in visceral interventions and has undergone extensive sub-speciality training in visceral interventions in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital where he had been involved with the team catering to hepatobiliary interventions, emergency visceral intervention and interventional oncology.
